Her first personal clinical studies of headache began in 1997.
The brain, spinal cord and nerve surgery majored in 1992-1996 in two separate periods of one year in Dokuz Eylul University, Neurology Department of the rotation, “Headache Clinic” and Turkey’s first “Transcranial Doppler” examination whom he took part in the center.
In 2009-2011, he specialized in Neurosurgery and Neurology Clinics for a total of 12 years in 3 different hospitals.
He has both clinical and surgical experience with headaches, the causes of headache and headache treatments.
In 1998, he suggested cervical disc hernia as a cause of hypertension. In the same year the scientific article on this subject was accepted by the Turkish Neurosurgical Society (TND) and presented to the medical world as a congressional report.
In 1999, the clinical study report on the relationship between the neck hub and migraine and tension type headache was published by TND.
For the first time in 1997 Europe and Turkey made the treatment of cervical disc herniation Ho-Laser. This treatment has become Europe’s largest patient portfolio.
In 2000, local anaesthetic and %20 mannitol injections began to be applied to trigger point in patients suffering from migraine and tension type headaches to allow their pain attacks to pass.
In 2000, he started a medical examination in her clinic with TCD regarding “vasocontraction of the brain vessels, obstruction, vascular disorders in embolism and cervical vertebrae pathologies.
In 2003 he shared her results with fellow academics. It provided the start of the academic work on Vertebral Artery Blood Flow changes in neck spinal diseases.
In 2004 he trained in Turkey in the field of Radiofrequency (RF) Nucleoplasty. With (RF) Turkey’s first neck hernia surgery was performed. This was applied in the universities and hospitals of Antalya, Denizli, Konya, Burdur and Isparta.
The practice of radiofrequency technology in the treatment of “headache” began in 2004.
Since 2005, successful results have been obtained with local steroid and anaesthetic injections at the terminals that initiated migraine headache in the neck region.
In 2013, the procedure of “migraine surgery” began in the United States (USA). Although the results are better than the US. he applied this surgical technique to a small number of patients because the technical requirements of the procedure were found to be very aggressive. In migraine patients, the surgeon chose Local injections and published the reason and the results of this choice.
In 2014, he started a series of studies on “human anatomy of headache” on human cadavers with her brother Prof. Dr Okan Bilge.
In 2016, he developed a new surgical technique for migraine and tension headache accompanied by anatomical and clinical study results.
Selective endoscopic ganglia and nerve ablation constituted the Migraine procedure protocol named “Selective Endoscopic Ganglia Nerve Ablation” (SEGNA).
In the same year he developed objective diagnostic criteria for migraine with TCD.
From 1990 to this day he has spent 27 years on treatments on brain diseases and surgical treatment of brain In order to become a specialist in this field.
He has actively played a role in the diagnosis and treatment of over 10,000 patients with complaints of drowsy “headache”.
The numbers of patients who have undergone surgical intervention with headache, migraine, tension type headache, cluster type headache, cervicogenic headache, trigeminal neuralgia, neuropathic pain are over 4,000. (In the last retrospective study in 2013, documents related to 3886 patients were archived.)
With regard to migraine headache syndromes (Cluster, Tension etc.) of unknown cause,
Nerve blockade with local anaesthetic agent and mannitol injection,
Nerve blockage with local anaesthetic agent and steroid injection,
Nerve ablation with radiofrequency,
Botox injection and nerve-muscle junction blockage,
Dorsal Root Entry Zone Ablation with Radiofrequency,
Migraine Relief Surgery (Migraine surgery done by plastic surgeons today)
And Selective Endoscopic Ganglia &Nerve Ablation
All these procedures have the largest series of patient treatments in the world in its applications.
Anterior Spinal Arteria Pressure Syndrome,
Neck pathologies and Headache,
Cervical Lymphadenopathies and Headache,
Cervical Spinal Instability and Headache,
Cervical Disc Herniation and Hypertension,
Cervical Disc Herniation and Sweating Disorders,
Cervical Disc Herniation and Balance Disorder,

He has the scientific work about it and owns publications and articles.
